Are there any basic cooking schools in Singapore? - shermay cooking school

I mean, really easy. I have heard from the cooking school Shermay, but it is too expensive. I have all the brochures from various community centers, but they are only lessons that you learn to cook, too. I mean reallly really basic things like cut and peel it all. I know them all, but I will come back and really find all the basics before it on. There are workshops like these?
